Simon Horrell - Owner
Andrée Walker - Manager &
Senior Stylist
Andree originally from the UK, moved to Bermuda in the early 90’s. With over 25 years of experience in all aspects of hairdressing. Master colorist and loves cutting and re-styling, particularly short precision cuts. Experienced in all hair textures especially ethnic hair. Andree has recently become an educator for our color line, Alfaparf.
Sylvie Respose - Senior Stylist
Sylvie began her career with Dessange International in her homeland of France. Dessange has been the pioneer of the Balayage Technique for more than 30 years. Sylvie is a fully qualified Master Colorist with over 30 years of experience in Cutting, Styling, and Color. Sylvie has Mastered the art of the French Balayage Technique in all aspects. Her expertise also includes Hair Extensions and Keratin Treatments. Sylvie is dedicated to her customers and always welcomes new clients!
Renée Mahoney - Senior Stylist
Renee came to Bermuda 13 years ago from Canada and with over 15 years of experience. She has mastered all aspects of hair including recent hair coloring techniques, fashion colors, precision cuts, ethnic hair and exquisite bridal hair up's.
Louise Burdett - Senior Stylist
Originally from the UK, Louise joined the Tangles team at the age of 25 in 2014. Louise has been in the hairdressing Industry since 2004 and has lots of experience in all aspects of hairdressing. Louise is a Blonde Master and loves all coloring techniques. Louise also loves cutting, restyling both men and women’s hair and has a great passion for wedding and special occasion hair.
Louise has experience working on fashion and editorial photo shoots and fashion shows both in the UK and in Bermuda most recently styling hair on behalf of Tangles for Bermuda Tourism, Rachel Roy, NBC’s the Today Show in Bermuda, Lilly and Lime Swimwear and Bermuda Broadcasting - The Breakdown. Louise had also assisted behind the scenes at London’s Salon International and the Schwarzkopf Creative Team awards while living and working in the UK.
Melissa Martin – Senior Stylist
Melissa originally from Canada has been in the hairdressing industry since 2008. She has worked as a hairstylist on island since 2012. Melissa has trained at Visal Sassoon Academy and has extensive knowledge in all aspects of hairdressing. Her true passion is in precision cutting, men’s cuts as well as all coloring techniques to keep up with the latest trends. Melissa has experience in updos for all events from weddings to a night out! Melissa is very eager to welcome back existing clients and new clients.
Theo Deneys - Senior Stylist
All the way from South Africa, Theo joins us with a wealth of experience and is very eager to welcome new clients.
Whether you're having issues with damage, breakage, or overall not getting to your hair goals we will work together to achieve your hair dream! Delivering great results that will have you throwing hair flips all week is absolutely a goal, but listening to my guests and educating them for a successful hair future is #1! If your hair isn't healthy, your color will never look good!
